The spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Rivers State, Ogbonna Nwuke, has resigned his position.

This was in a letter addressed to the APC caretaker committee chairman of the state.

According to Nwuke in the letter, the reason for his resignation was "strictly personalÔÇØ.

In the letter dated September 19, titled; 'Resignation as APC spokesman', Nwuke thanked members of the party for the mandate to speak on behalf of the party, adding that; "Everything that has a beginning has an end. It is time to move on and time to concentrate on other things of great interestÔÇØ.
