Rivers: Tinubu won't sacrifice Wike for Fubara - Fayose

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has said President Bola Tinubu will not sacrifice the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, amid the ongoing political crisis in the state.

Speaking on ARISE News on Tuesday, Fayose said anyone who refuses to humble himself and seek peace would continue to "run helter-skelter," stressing that solutions to the crisis lie within those involved.

"He needs help. When you don't praise God and you refuse to humble yourself and look for peace, you will just be running helter-skelter. What he is looking for is inside his pocket," Fayose said.

Addressing Nigerians directly, Fayose added that based on his knowledge of President Tinubu, the President would not abandon Wike in favour of Fubara.

"Let me say this to Nigerians, the President that I know will not get rid of a Wike for a Fubara," he stated.
