The Buhari Led Government Has Done Well -Katsina Lawmaker, Muntari Dandutse
The Katsina lawmaker representing the Funtua/Dandume Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Muntari Dadutse, has stated that the President, Muhammadu Buhari has done wonderfully well in office.

The lawmaker said this in Abuja after submitting his Declaration of Interest and Nominations Forms of the APC to contest the Katsina South Senatorial District seat at the Senate in the 2023 general election.

He opined that this is one of the reasons why the All Progressives Congress stands unabated in Katsina despite the recent defection by one of the three senators from the state, Senator Ahmed Kaita, lawmaker representing Katsina North Senatorial district where the President hails from.

Dandutse stressed that Senator Ahmed, who in April announced his defection from APC the ruling party, to the opposition party PDP, as well as others who towed the same path, did that for selfish reasons saying that they are "politicians who do not think of ethics and principles."

He added that most of the criminalities and the situations that have engulfed the country were caused by the PDP who had ruled the country for 16 years with nothing to show for but problems which the President Buhari has been able to solve.

He further mentioned that the infrastructural development of the country was done by the APC and not PDP.

He stressed on the need for Nigerians to put heads together to ensure peace and security in the country and desist from their stereotypical perception about the APC that are in most cases negative.

The lawmaker said for Nigerians to develop their country, they needed to shun their tribal or religious differences.
