'This Is Not A Command Structure' - Ologunagba Clarifies PDP's Failure To Discipline Wike

All Facts Newspaper recalls that Wike, alongside other PDP governors named '5G', worked against the party in the 2023 election, but the opposition party failed to sanction them.

Speaking on Arise Television's Morning Show on Wednesday, Ologunagba stated that the PDP was addressing internal issues through democratic processes rather than authoritarian measures.

According to Ologunagba, the PDP is not a one-party system owned by a single individual, stressing that everyone is allowed to hold different views, ideas, and comments.

Ologunagba added that the party was committed to due process in managing its affairs.

He said, "We're following through and solving our problems methodically in a democratic way. This is not a command structure, because it's not a one-party system owned by one individual. You're going to have different views, different ideas, different comments, and you try to ensure that you bring all of these contestations of views and ideas together.

"I struggled not to go into personal issues. However, straight to the point, this party is based on organization and processes, and we have strived very strenuously to follow those processes, leading to this new arrangement of the National Convention, which is elective and has been scheduled for Ibadan on the 15th and 16th of November 2025. Every organ of this party, every stakeholder, was informed and specifically invited.ÔÇØ
