"We No Want Your Scholarship Again" - Happie Boys To OPM Founder | WATCH VIDEO

Recall that the Happie boys went viral after they were sacked from an eatery in Aba, Abia state for dancing on duty. Following the uproar which accompanied their sack, Apostle Chinyere offered to send them to Cyprus on scholarship to study.

However on Monday, June 12, 2023, the Happie Boys who have been in Cyprus took to social media alleging that the OPM founder abandoned them after their 6 months scholarship expired and they were suffering.

Responding, Apostle Chinyere clarified on social media that the rise in dollar rate affected OPM scholarships abroad, he however offered the boys to either return to Nigeria or Benin Republic to continue their scholarship which is being footed using church offerings and tithes.

Days later, the OPM founder shared photos of flight tickets purchased for the return of the Happie boys, noting that he has forgiven them for their outburst against him.

Taking to social media again, the Happie Boys in a video apologised to Apostle Chinyere for their outburst and appreciated him for sending them to Cyprus unconditionally. They however stated that they won't return to Nigeria and they no longer need OPM scholarship.
"I'm not going back to Naija oo, ABI you won go back, noo ooooo.
Him don try but we no need tithe and offering again. wetin we dey talk be say, make everybody dey their dey" one of the boys said.
