Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed his unwavering determination in the face of Thursday's Appeal Court judgment, which reinstated Martin Amaewhule and 24 other lawmakers to the State House of Assembly. The court's decision nullified a previous order by the Rivers State High Court that had restrained Amaewhule and the other lawmakers, who are loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, from parading themselves as lawmakers.

The Appeal Court ruled that only the Federal High Court has jurisdiction over the matter concerning the lawmakers. Despite this setback, Governor Fubara remains committed to his administration's goals.

Governor Fubara reassured the public of his administration's dedication to providing essential infrastructure for the state's rapid development. After inspecting reconstruction work at the Zonal Hospital in Bori Town, the headquarters of Khana Local Government Area, Fubara emphasized that his government's focus would not waver.

The governor's commitment was reiterated in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi. Addressing concerns from the people of Rivers State, Fubara referenced Psalm 23:5, saying, "God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies.ÔÇØ He assured citizens that despite challenges, his administration would continue to deliver on its promises.
Governor Fubara highlighted healthcare, education, and agriculture as top priorities for his administration. He stressed the importance of ensuring optimal services in these sectors for the benefit of all residents.

"We are here today. From next week, we will be visiting Degema, Ahoada, and Omoku, and also the sites of the Modern General and Psychiatric Hospitals in Rumuigbo to assess the progress of work. The Zonal Hospital project in Bori Town is not just for the people of Khana, but also for Gokana, and even my own constituency, Opobo/Nkoro,ÔÇØ he explained.

Fubara reassured the people of the senatorial district that the hospital project would be completed and put to good use, benefiting the entire region.
