A statement by the factional National Publicity Secretary of the party, Obiora Ifoh, on Thursday, said the statement by Nanadi's media aide, Ken Asogwa, was a clear attempt to blackmail the inec and its out-gone Acting inec chairperson, Mrs May Agbamuche-Mbu.

"Consequently we have instructed our Counsel to write to Mr Asogwa, who is also a lawyer to within the next 72 hours retract the highly offensive and embarrassing statement without which we will be left with no other choice but to petition him to the Nigerian Bar Association for describing a validly issued order of a court as FAKE.

"Dragging the integrity of the court on social space, all because of politics is very unfortunate. He is no longer worthy to be a minister in the temple of justice and if he can denigrate His Lordship in the manner he has done, it shows that he ought to face a disciplinary action," the statement said.
