Aspirants join Akeredolu's campaign council

SOME governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who lost to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at the primaries, have been drafted into his campaign council.

APC state Chairman Ade Adetimehin was named as the director general of the campaign committee, while Governor Akeredolu is the chairman of the campaign council.

The former governorship aspirants named as members of the campaign council were Chief Olusola Oke, Ife Oyedele, D. I. Kekemeke, Segun Abraham, Jimi Odimayo and Amb. Sola Iji.

Others are Senator Borrofice, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, Ade Adeogun, Timehin Adelegbe, Mayowa Akinfolarin, Senator Yele Omogunwa, Dayo Faduyile, Pius Osunyikanmi, Kole Oluwajana and Bamidele Oloyelogun.

Information and Orientation Commissioner Donald Ojogo was appointed chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee, while spokesman for the APC, Alex Kalejaiye, will serve as secretary.

Mr. Charles Fagbohunka is the chairman Voting Unit Canvassers Committee; Senator Tayo Alasoadura was named chairman Finance and Resources Allocation, while Alex Ajipe is chairman Civil Society and Support Groups Committee.
