The Anambra state governor elect, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has been presented with a certificate of return.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), presented the certificate to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), candidate on Friday, November 12, 2021.

In a Facebook post Soludo wrote;

I have just received my certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Recall that the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) won 19 out of the 21 local governments areas in the state after the Saturday and Tuesday supplementary elections.

Soludo had 112,229 votes, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party- 53,807 votes, Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress - 43,285 votes and Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party- 21,261 votes.

All others have congratulated Soludo on his victory except the APC candidate Andy Uba who rejected the election results.
