No man can stop Uba Sani from serving Kaduna residents - NIMASA chair

The Chairman of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Yusuf Hamisu Mairago has revealed that no individual can derail Governor Uba Sani's commitment to serving the state's 11 million residents.

He warned those trying to interfere with the governor's work to stop.

"Someone has completed his tenure, yet he still wants to interfere in another person's time in office. Is there anyone who was ever assured to be the guardian angel of Kaduna?ÔÇØ Mairago asked while speaking during the APC stakeholders' meeting in Kaduna South Local Government Area.

Mairago said the people of Kaduna should be proud of the progress under Uba Sani's administration.

"Uba Sani is for the people, he is a good man. The only thing Uba Sani thinks about is the people and the oath he took as governor. He knows he is accountable to God on the Day of Judgement. One man cannot make the governor abandon the oath he took for 11 million people.ÔÇØ

He described Uba Sani as a hardworking leader who hardly rests.

"He doesn't sleep. The only time he sleeps is when he is on the way to somewhere in a car and just naps a little before arrival, or when eating,ÔÇØ he said.

"We leave the house at 6 a.m. and work resumes by 9 a.m.ÔÇØ

Mairago also highlighted improvements in security and infrastructure, saying Kaduna is now safer and has gained respect across Nigeria and beyond.

"Security in Kaduna has improved. They have opened the Birnin Gwari and Giwa roads. Is there anything more important than improved security?ÔÇØ he asked.

According to Mairago, the Vice President praised Uba Sani saying that even if security was the only thing he achieved, he has set a record in Nigeria.

He added that Uba Sani's performance has placed Kaduna on the global map.

"America is looking for him at the United Nations. They have removed us from red to amber, according to the Commonwealth. We have been put on a map that no other state in the Northwest is on because of Governor Uba Sani's performance in two years.ÔÇØ

Mairago urged Kaduna residents to stop doubting their progress and to appreciate what he described as God's blessing.

"Let us in Kaduna stop worrying and stop being ashamed because we have something to be proud of, Governor Uba Sani is our pride.ÔÇØ

He further noted that Uba Sani has provided many constituency projects that previous administrations did not deliver, stressing that his focus remains on serving the people of Kaduna.
