The People's Democratic Party (PDP), has again lost three senators to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The senators who were elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, announced their defection to APC in separate letters read on the floor of the Red Chamber by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, during plenary on Wednesday, June 30.

The senators are; the Minority Whip, Sahabi Ya'u (Zamfara North); Peter Nwaoboshi (Delta North); and Lawal Anka (Zamfara West).

According to the defectors, they left the PDP due to the divisions at various levels.

In his remark, Lawan congratulated the new APC senators for their decision to move to the ruling party.
